Rural tourism

The landscape of the Serra da Cabreira — granite, green valleys and native vegetation — suggests a natural potential for rural hospitality in the region. It is a common path in the surrounding area, but for this land it still depends on its own feasibility study and licensing.

Residential living

Part of the village land is classified as Espaços Urbanos de Baixa Densidade (low-density urban land) in the Vieira do Minho municipal plan — urban-classified ground, beside the houses and the municipal road. The remainder of the village land and all of the upper land are rural. Classification consulted in the municipality's geographic information system; what may actually be built depends on a formal urban-planning opinion, still to be obtained.
